Basic Conditions for entry to Burkina Faso
How to Obtain Visa:
Documents required:

Visa Application form (form issued by Embassy and also available on our website to be submitted in duplicate);
Valid Passport;
Two Passport size photograph;
Air ticket + Print out of reservation attested by IATA Agent;
Invitation letter from Burkina Faso to be faxed or emailed directly to the Embassy of Burkina Faso Recommendation letter from your Chamber of Commerce.
The Embassy of Burkina Faso is free to ask for any additional information as it may deem necessary for issuance of Visas

Please phone to make a prior appointment to present your visa application.

Purpose of Entry

Business (Invitation letter from Burkina Faso/Recommendation letter from your Chamber of Commerce.)
Official/Diplomatic Passports must be accompanied by a note verbal.
Sight Seeing or Tourism (Hotel Name and telephone number. In case of stay at friend’s home, please provide invitation lette.)

Health (Vaccination):	Visa Timings
Yellow Fever inoculation (compulsory) Cholera inoculation (Recommended).	Monday to Friday - Submission 10.30 to 12.30 pm Monday to Friday - Collection 04.00 to 04.30 pm

The Embassy takes great pleasure in announcing the arrival of H.E. Mr. Idriss Raoua OUEDRAOGO Ambassador-Designate of Burkina Faso to India. H. E. Mr. OUEDRAOGO arrived in New Delhi on December 2, 2011 and has assumed charge of the Mission.

The entire staff of the Embassy wishes him a very warm welcome and success in his mission.

On Thursday, January 12, 2012 H.E. Mr. Idriss Raoua OUEDRAOGO presented his credentials to H.E. Mrs. Pratibha Patil, the Honourable President of the Republic of India, as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to India.
