Culture: Probably the thing that Burkina Faso is most famous for is its music and drumming culture. What a great country to visit if you are interested in learning West African drumming!
As with music, art is also part of the culture of Burkina Faso.

   

Cultural activities such as the Pan – African Film Festival of Ouagadougou, the International Fair of Handicrafts at Ouagadougou, the National Cultural Week at Bobo and International Festivals of Drama, attract tourists from all over the world. The week-long festival is the largest African film festival more than 40,000 people are expected to attend. It will be held in the main stadium in the capital city, Ouagadougou

   
 
 
The country hosts the International Arts and Crafts Fair, Ouagadougou, better known by its French name as SIAO, Le Salon International de L'Artisanat de Ouagadougou, one of the most important African handicraft fairs in the world.

The Embassy of Burkina Faso in New Delhi would like to remind all Burkinabe citizens residing in its jurisdiction countries that the registration of Burkinabe nationals is still an ongoing process and they are requested to complete their registration process which can also be done online on this website.

India has concluded an agreement of Duty Free Tariff Preference with the Government of Burkina Faso. Under this scheme, many products from Burkina Faso and from the Republic of India will be exempt from Import duty. This will be very beneficial for importers and exporters of both countries.
