| The first ever official CII mission was in Ouagadougou from 6th to 8th June 2010. This mission was jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso and CII. The opening ceremony was presided by H.E. Mrs. Ruchi Ghanshyam, the Indian High Commissioner based in Ghana, the first and second Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce of Burkina Faso Mrs. Alizeta Ouedraogo and Mr. Gaspar Ouedraogo respectively. The high officials of CII and Leaders of Indian Industry had B2B meetings with more than 100 Burkinabe businessmen. It was an excellent step forward after the 5th CII EXIM Bank Conclave on India-Africa Project Partnership 2009, where Burkina Faso was the first partner country. After the Conclave our country has received a tremendous boost in business relations with India and this mission organized by the CII should further cement this relationship. |
